The primary certification authority for women-owned businesses is the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. There are also regional affiliates such as, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council – Pacific (WBEC-Pacific). For Calitho to be recognized by the WBEC in California, we have, and continue to meet, the following criteria: majority ownership, management and control of both day-to-day operations and overall management and be an independent business.
To pursue certification as a women-owned business in California, you would typically need to apply. This was done through the appropriate certification organization by providing documents to support our eligibility.
